How do I place an order in the store?

Select products → click “ADD TO CART” → go to the Order Form on the website and fill in your details, choose the delivery and payment method → confirm the purchase. Orders can also be sent by e‑mail to kontakt@bistrobachotek.pl.

Can I place orders outside business hours?

Yes — orders via the form or e‑mail can be placed 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Fulfillment, however, depends on service hours (see below).

When will I receive order confirmation?

After placing an order you will receive a confirmation at the e‑mail address provided in the form. If it does not arrive — check your SPAM folder or contact us by phone at +48 576 722 221.

When do you start processing the order?

Fulfillment begins: for payment on delivery — at latest the next business day after confirmation; for bank transfer — after the payment is posted to the store's account. Orders are processed on business days; order processing hours: Mon–Fri 12:00–16:00. Orders placed after 16:00 and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are processed on the next business day.

What delivery options are available?

Options: personal pickup at the Bistro (ul. Wyspiańskiego 4A, Brodnica) or home delivery. Delivery cost depends on the chosen option and is not included in the product price.

Until what time do you make home deliveries?

The website contains two pieces of information: we make deliveries until 14:00 and in the FAQ: until 15:00. We recommend confirming the time when placing your order or by contacting us by phone at +48 576 722 221 to avoid misunderstandings.

What is the approximate waiting time for delivery?

Waiting time depends on the number of orders and road conditions. Locally, waiting time is usually up to 120 minutes; estimated delivery time (for domestic shipments) starts from 24 hours. When ordering you can specify a preferred time — it is approximate.

What should I do if the delivery is delayed?

Contact the Bistro at +48 576 722 221. The seller is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, however we will try to clarify the situation and help.

Are the products packaged?

Yes — packaging is included in the price of the products (including the Daily Set). When purchasing on site the packaging may be added as a separate item — the total amount is the same.

What payment methods do you accept?

Available methods: payment on delivery (cash on delivery), bank transfer and cash (upon pickup).

How much time do I have to pay by bank transfer?

The payment deadline for bank transfer is 5 business days from the order date. Please enter the order number in the transfer title. After the deadline the order may be removed — it is possible to extend the deadline after prior contact with customer service.

How will I receive the receipt for the order?

A fiscal receipt is issued for every order. A VAT invoice will be issued at the customer's request — please indicate the need for an invoice when placing the order or contact us by e‑mail.

What happens if the transfer is not posted?

If payment by bank transfer is not posted within 5 business days (or within an extended period after agreement), the order will be removed. In case of problems contact: bistropttkbachotek@gmail.pl or +48 576 722 221.

What is the Daily Set and how much does it cost?

The Daily Set is a lunch offer (option to choose 1 or 2 dishes). Price starts from 12,00 zł (depending on chosen dishes). The Daily Set can be ordered Monday to Friday until 17:00.

What products do you offer in the "Our Pantry" category?

In Our Pantry there are traditional preserves without preservatives, including Bigos Staropolski 0,9 l (28,00 zł), Meatballs in vinegar brine 0,9 l (28,00 zł), Herring in vinegar brine 0,9 l (28,00 zł), Lard 250 g (12,00 zł). Products are available online and on site.

Why do prices in the online store differ from prices in the bistro?

Prices in the online store include packaging. When purchasing on site the packaging may be added as a separate item — the total amount is the same.

Do the dish photos exactly reflect what I will receive?

Photos are for illustrative purposes. Ingredients or side salads added to the Daily Set may vary depending on ingredient availability.

How do I order catering for an event?

How quickly can a catering order be fulfilled?

We can fulfill catering orders even within 48 hours — the final deadline is agreed individually when ordering.

What does the catering offer? Are there vegetarian options?

We offer lunch sets, vegetarian dishes, fish specialties, snacks and desserts. The catering menu includes, among others, pierogi (3,00 zł/pc), bigos, lecho with meatballs, trout, cheese and cold cuts boards, and desserts like poppy seed cake or royal cheesecake.

Does the catering include local products?

Yes — the dishes combine traditional flavors of the Brodnica Lake District and we use local products.

How can I file a complaint?

A complaint can be submitted in writing to: ul. Wyspiańskiego 4A, 87-300 Brodnica or by e‑mail to bistropttkbachotek@gmail.pl. Provide contact details and details of the complaint.

What should a complaint include?

The complaint should include: full name and correspondence address, e‑mail, phone, indication of the reason for the complaint and the content of the claim, order number (from the confirmation) and (optionally) the original or a copy of the proof of purchase (receipt/invoice).

What rights do I have in case of non-conformity of the goods with the contract?

The seller is responsible for non-conformity of the product with the contract in accordance with the regulations (e.g. 2 years for consumer claims regarding defects discovered after delivery). The consumer may demand repair, replacement, price reduction or withdrawal from the contract, and the seller bears the costs of repair/replacement and transport.

How long does it take to refund money after withdrawal or an accepted complaint?

Returns and price reductions are carried out without undue delay, no later than within 14 days from receiving the statement of withdrawal or from the acceptance of the complaint (in cases provided by law).

Do you have an additional warranty on products?

The seller may grant an additional warranty on products under a separate warranty regulation — information will be made available for a given product or upon request.

Can I withdraw from a contract purchased online?

Yes — as a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days from the day of receiving the goods. A model withdrawal form is an attachment to the Terms and Conditions.

How to return goods and who covers the return costs?

The goods should be sent back to: ul. Wyspiańskiego 4A, 87-300 Brodnica within 14 days of submitting the withdrawal statement. The consumer bears the direct costs of returning the goods.

When is the right of withdrawal not available?

The right of withdrawal does not apply, among others, to goods made to the customer's specifications, perishable goods, alcoholic beverages under certain conditions, goods in sealed packaging after opening (for hygiene reasons), recordings/software after opening the packaging, subscriptions, services provided on a specific date (e.g. catering, events) and other exclusions provided by law.

When will I receive a refund of the paid funds?

The seller returns all received payments within 14 days from the day of receiving the withdrawal statement, after receiving the Goods or proof of its dispatch. The refund is made using the same method of payment, unless the consumer indicates another method without additional costs.

Who is the administrator of my personal data?

The administrator of personal data is the Seller: Polskie Towarzystwo Turystyczno‑Krajoznawcze, Oddział w Brodnicy (contact details available on the website). By placing an order you consent to the processing of data for the purpose of fulfilling and handling the order.

Are my data shared with third parties?

Data are not transferred to entities not involved in the performance of the contract. Data may be transferred to entities cooperating in the execution of the order (e.g. the carrier), to the extent necessary to perform the service.

What rights do I have under GDPR?

You have the right of access to data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object. Details are available in the Privacy Policy on the store's website.

How can I resolve a dispute without going to court?

In case of disputes a consumer may use mediation through the territorially competent Provincial Inspectorate of Trade Inspection, the permanent consumer arbitration court at the Provincial Inspectorate, free assistance from the municipal/district consumer ombudsman or the online ODR platform (http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/).
